Owl Metamorphosis Art Journal

You may remember when I did an art journal round robin back in the Spring? The round robin finished a while back, but I love having other artists work in my art journal so I swapped journals with my friend, Tina, so we could each do a page spread in each others journals.

Our journals were themed, so while my journal is a “dream” journal, Tina’s theme is “Metamorphosis”.

Here is my art journal page inspired by that:

I actually saw a sketch on pinterest of a girl with an owl face and was inspired by that to do this page. I love owls (or any woodland animal) and though it was perfect to go with the “metamorphosis” theme of the journal.
