Get Messy Thursday- Week 6
It’s the last week in the Get Messy Season of Music AND I also finished up my altered atlas journal this week.
Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. Our community values consistent creating, encouragement and suppport and trying new things. We would love to have you join us as a member of Get Messy Art Journal.

I only had a couple of pages left to fill in my altered atlas journal, so I am officially done with this journal now, as well as done with the Season of Music.

I tore these amazing images out of a National Geographic magazine, I just loved the colors and texture of them, they’re so dreamy to me.
This page is about silence, so I did a super quick sketch of a girl with her eyes closed. I hardly ever draw without doing a pencil sketch first, but it doesn’t look too bad, I think.

My second page doesn’t have any journaling, but I felt it was finished nonetheless. Sometimes pages speak for themselves, yes?
My friend Misty recently sent me a box of scraps, including this cool piece of foreign money. I just loved the color, so I based my page around it.

Since that is the end of the Season of Music, I’ll be taking a 2 week break from sharing my pages here until the next season.
You can follow me on instagram if you’d like to see more of my pages in the following weeks.
