Get Messy Thursday – Week 5

It is the Season of Music in the Get Messy community, and I am using an altered atlas as my art journal.

Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. I was feeling back in my art journal groove this week!

This week my pages are about Silence. I tried to represent that on my first page here, with the minimalist background, nothing but watercolors. Silence is rarely actually silent.

And page 2 is about the sound of space, true silence as there are no sounds that in space.

My altered atlas journal is ALMOST filled up, I’m pretty sure it will be by next week. I’m kind of sad, I’ve loved working in this journal for the past few months!
