Get Messy Thursday- Music Week 2
It is the Season of Music in the Get Messy community, and I am using an altered atlas as my art journal.
Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. Our community values consistent creating, encouragement and suppport and trying new things. We would love to have you join us as a member of Get Messy Art Journal.
You can read more about why I love the Get Messy community here.

I made 3 pages in my journal this week, all music related in some way.
This first page is about film scores. I love listening to film scores, I could lose myself in them, listening to the music. Like Star Trek, which is my favorite, obviously, and that explains why there are galaxies on this page.
Other film scores I love are The Lord of The Rings, The Hunger Games, Narnia and so many more.

One of the prompts this week was related to music we listened to as kids, and for me that was Jump5.
So I used some of their lyrics here on this page, as well as a lot of layers like watercolor, stamping and painting dots.

If you’re a member of the Get Messy community you may have seen that I designed a free printable this past week! I painted these watercolor moons/circles, and after making them a printable for you guys, I cut them out and glued them on this page here.

Also, Owl City Lyrics are my favorite.
Did you do any art journaling this week?
