Get Messy- Season of Happy Week 2
It’s Thursday again! Weirdly enough, Mondays and Thursdays are my 2 favorite days of the week. Anyhow, onto my Get Messy Art Journal pages of the week:
Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. There was a tutorial on the Get Messy blog for trying a hot glue resist and I had to play along! I had done this technique before, but it has been a while since then.
I hot glued on the circles and lines and then painted watercolors over top of it and then doodled out a list of things that made me happy this week.
One of the prompts was about relationships, so being single, I took this prompt and made it my own.
There was also a color challenge to try and do a monochromatic page! So, mine is (almost) all pink! I did add in a bit of gold..
I also used a few of my scrap foil from my Minc machine! As you can see in the picture below they give my page a bit of shine!
That’s all I have for this week. I did do more art journaling, but it has been for secret projects that I’m not ready to share yet!
