It is the Season of Connections at *Get Messy.
*Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. Our community values consistent creating, encouragement and support and trying new things. We would love to have you join us as a member of Get Messy Art Journal.

I’ve been on an art journaling break the past couple of weeks as I’ve been on vacation and have only brought a few art supplies with me. So I haven’t really been participating in the current season of Get Messy.
But it’s my week to share a tutorial as a part of the creative team, so if you’re a member of GM then be sure to hop over to the private blog to watch it!
My friend Misty and I mailed letters back and forth this Summer, and after I got a pretty good collection of them stacked up, I turned them into this journal.
It’s got an accordion spine binding and I left all of the letters inside of the envelopes. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about this journal, but I think I like it. I love the handmade envelopes that Misty created!
