Hey my friends! Today, Those of us on the Get Messy Art Journal Creative Team are doing a fun little blog hop!
*Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. Today we are excited to be starting a new season at Get Messy- The Season of Color! We’re celebrating that by each creating a project in a single color, you can find all of ours blogs in a list at the end of this post.
I created this monochromatic blue art journal page! Here’s how it came together:
I started with a bit of high flow paints on the right. I pulled out some paint chips thinking I might collage them, but didn’t end up using them.
Next I did a quick (about 10 minutes maybe?) sketch of a girl with flowy blue hair using Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
Then I started adhering things down, adding details like tiny white dots and a few words.
