DIY Ugly Christmas Sweater Tins
(This post is sponsored by Pirouline Cookies)
I have some news to share, y’all. This is my last Pirouline project. I’ve been creating DIY’s for Pirouline Cookies for the past 2 years, and I’ve loved the challenge of finding new ways to recycle these tins! But it’s time to move on to another project. If you’re looking for more recycled crafts, be sure to check out my past projects : You can find them all here.
For my last Pirouline project I am sharing a really fun one! Today I am creating Ugly Christmas Sweater tins! I love Ugly Christmas Sweaters, so I’m giving new life to thrift store sweaters by combining them with Pirouline cookie tins to make some fun holiday decor pieces!

Thrifted Christmas Sweaters
Step 1. Cut your sweater sleeve to 2″ longer than your tin.
Step 2. Slide the sweater sleeve over the tin. If the sweater is a type that will fray, “hem” the top by folding it under and securing it with glue.
Step 3. Flip the tin upside down. Cut 4 equally spaced lines in the material hanging off the end of the tin, fold down the material and adhere it to the bottom of the tin.
That’s it, Now you can go shop at all of the thrift stores to hunt down the best sweater patterns! I was so in love with that nerd deer I found!
