Art Journal Inspiration- Get Messy
Okay guys time for some art journal inspiration! I recently signed up for the Get Messy Art Journal challenge (learn more here) and the current journal prompt themes are all about love. Here are my pages:
For my first page I actually journaled about Sister love! 😉 I had sketched this little image of Taylor and I sometime last year but never got around to using it on a project until now. It’s drawn on velum so I taped it to the top of the page so that it hides my journaling underneath.
For the right side of the page I went a bit crazy with Gelatos and then added a washi tape heart and lots and lots of sequins!

My next page is very pink as well. Clearly, I’ve been using my favorite color a lot. 😉 I used some Britt Nicole lyrics for this page inspired by Get Messy Art Journal.
That’s *supposed* to be a self portrait but even though I can draw other people, I’m terrible at self portraits. I think it looks a little bit like me, but I’ve been told (by my Aunt and Mom) that it’s maybe me in, say, 20 years.. Oh well, I’ll stick to drawing other people.
The background is a gelli printed paper that I doodled on top of.

Here’s one last page I did. The page on the left was based on a prompt to use song lyrics and the page on the right was using a free printable “Let’s Get Messy” quote.
The right page took me about 20 minutes to complete- I timed myself. 😉

So, do you like the new Art Journal Inspiration feature? I’ve posted my pages here before, but not consistently every week. Is there something you’d like to see?
