A Dream Art Journal
Hey guys, I have a fun project to share today! I am participating in a collaboration with some other artists, that my friend Tina put together.

We all started with nearly the same collection of materials. We could add in our own supplies as long as we used everything we were sent to begin with, and we could create any type of project we wanted.
I created an art journal.

These are the supplies we had to use:
We had some fun sponsors: Amazing Casting Products, Beacon Adhesives and StencilGirl.

I used recycled chipboard for the covers, they already had the holes punched in them, so i just went with it and used a coptic stitch to bind the journal together, with mixed media paper on the inside.

You know I love galaxies, so I used a bit of acrylic paint to design a galaxy onto the felt material included and then adhered it onto my cover.
The next season in the Get Messy Art Journal community is the Season of Dreams, and I decided to use this art journal during that. I cut out tiny letters from a card and spelled out the word “dreams” to adhere onto the front of the journal.
I did go ahead and embellish the inside of the covers, with a few Gelli prints and stenciling.

I tied on a bit of twine to use as a closure. I’m so in love with this journal, I’m definitely going to enjoy working in it for the next couple of months.
Does the cover make you dream as well?
