    My Alaska Mini Album

Hey y’all, today I have a new mini album to share! I love making mini scrapbooks, and it’s already been 2 months since I arrived home from my Alaska trip so I figured it was about time to document it, right? 😉 I had such a great time in Alaska! I used a flip book by Paper House Productions  for the album. I’ve actually had this album base in my stash for 1-2 years now and hadn’t decided on the perfect photos for it until now! It works so well for these. My only complaint is

Celebrating National Scrapbook Day with Tombow

National Scrapbook Day is the first Saturday in May, and this year those of us on the design team are celebrating by showing the many creative ways you can use scrapbooking supplies! Today I am up on the Tombow blog sharing how I used scrapbooking supplies in my art journal! Tombow sent those of us on the design team a package filled with paper crafting goodies. I also made a mini album using some of the products which you can see here. Are you celebrating National Scrapbook

Celebrating National Scrapbok Day! – Mountains Mini Album

Hey guys, today I wanted to share this mini album I made! National Scrapbook Day falls on the first Saturday of May, and *Tombow sent those of us on their design team a package to celebrate the day! It inspired me to finally scrapbook these photos from my trip to Colorado last year (right before leaving for this years trip!!). Tombow partnered up with a few amazing paper crafting companies, and they sent us so many goodies! I want to thank them here and then I’ll get on to sh

How to Make A Mini Album Scrapbook – Mini Albums 101

As a scrapbooker, I think I’d have to say that one of my most favorite things to make is a mini album! I love using travel photos and making a small album to document the whole trip, rather than having 10+ 12″x12″ layouts. I know everyone doesn’t feel the same way, but I love them. If you’ve never made a mini album before, I think you should give them a try! I’m putting this blog post together for anyone wanting to put together a mini album for the first time, or anyone who j

Hey my friends! Today I have my latest mini album scrapbook to share with you! My Dad and I recently took a camping trip to Lake Easton, and obviously took a few pictures! For this mini album I used some supplies from my stash, but I also just bought some of Pink Paislee’s “outfitters” line, and I just love it and had to use some on this mini. I mean, just look at that leather badge that I used on my front cover!! love. Here are my pages: This mini album came together really

The Redwoods – A Foiled Mini Album

Hey guys, I recently shared this post over on Kristin’s blog and totally forgot to share it here! Ooops! Here it is now though. 🙂 At Christmas my parents got me a Heidi Swapp Minc machine (they know me well!), and one of the things I’ve been wanting to do is foil stamped designs! The Minc is a foil applicator and it foils laser toner designs. I used the new toner screen ink to add foiled stamping to this mini album with rukristin’s Basics Alphabet and Basics Months stamps. I

Grand Canyon – Ribbon Mini Album

Another day, another mini album finished! I think making mini albums is definitely my most favorite way to scrapbook and document memories. I just love mini books. For this mini album, I grabbed some new supplies I got from Tombow. Tombow has partnered with May Arts and they sent me this fabulous hot pink metallic ribbon. I saw it and immediately thought of my Grand Canyon pictures. Is that weird? Maybe. But I was inspired. 😉 I used the ribbon as a way to bind my mini album

Oregon Coast Mini Album (NSD 2016)

This past Saturday was National Scrapbook Day! Did you celebrate by pulling out paper and photos? I did. Well, sort of. I was busy all day Saturday, so I celebrated on Sunday. Close enough! This year Tombow partnered with a bunch of fabulous scrapbook companies, and as a Tombow Brand Ambassador I got to play with a few new products and goodies! I created this layout using the Attwell collection by Fancy Pants. The blues in this collection worked perfectly with my photos of th

    Glacier National Park Mini Album

Hey friends, Happy Wednesday! Today I plan on doing some outdoor things- I’ve got some flowers to plant, but I’m also hoping to get in a bit of scrapbooking time. I made this mini album earlier in the year and totally forgot to share it. But here it is! As you can (obviously) tell, I used photos from our trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. The cover is corrugated cardstock by American Crafts, And I believe the chipboard arrows and a few other embellishments I used in th

I’m still working on scrapbooking our epic trip last year across the western USA, I’ve been going back and forth between 12×12″ layouts and mini albums. I love both so I can’t seem to stick to just one or the other. I made this mini album using some of my photos from our stay at Yellowstone National Park. It’s sort of a mini album- it’s actually 6×9″, so it’s not that small. I cut down larger page protects and because I don’t have the Fuse tool, I just used my woodburner set

My December Daily/30 Lists Album Part 2

Apparently I am a very bad blogger because I totally forgot to share the second half of my December Daily album, and it’s almost February. Oops. You can find part 1 of my album here. This is the journal/mini album I made to use partially as a December Daily album, partially #30Lists and also a little bit of a Christmas art journal, all rolled up into one. I am using a recycled book for my album base. I used an old Readers Digest book, because I think the patterns on these ol

I have one more art journal page to share with you for the day. This one is more scrapbook-y, but it is an art journal page in my altered book. You can scroll to the next post to see more of this weeks art journal pages. This is is my first project as part of the rukristin creative team and I think it turned out pretty good. 😉 I created this page all about where I’m at in my life right now. I think it’s important to document more than just events, and to document what you li

    Paint + Paper

Hey guys, Happy Wednesday! I’ve been testing out a new blog feature here on the blog, Art Journal Wednesdays. The problem is that I don’t always have new pages to share, so I’m renaming this feature to “Paint + Paper” and I plan to share my art journal pages, scrapbooks, project life pages and card. That way it’s more open, and I can share things other than JUST art journal pages. I feel like I never share just layouts or cards anymore, so I’m excited for this feature. Today

Today I’m on the Love My Tapes blog sharing a layout I created using their awesome tapes! I used both fabric tapes and washi tape to create that sunburst paper. I combined that with some new supplies I got a GASC last month to create this fun layout using photos from our May beach trip.
